Albuquerque -- Today, the Credit Union Association of New Mexico (CUANM) endorsed Congresswoman Michelle Lujan Grisham for Governor of New Mexico.

CUANM has been serving communities across the state since 1958 by helping credit unions address member needs through education, advocacy, services, and products.

“We feel Michelle Lujan Grisham understands the needs of New Mexico’s credit unions and their 850,000 hard-working members in New Mexico, and that is why we’re endorsing her in her bid to be New Mexico’s next governor,” said Paul Stull, President and CEO of CUANM.

“Credit unions provide financial services to communities across New Mexico, helping grow small businesses, foster economic growth and give families access to affordable mortgages. It is an honor to have their endorsement of the Credit Union Association of New Mexico and look forward to working with them to make sure our families and small businesses have the opportunity to invest in our communities,” said Rep. Lujan Grisham.

Credit unions in New Mexico employ 2,500 people and provide services to over 826,000 members across the state.
