New Mexico’s veterans face unique challenges when it comes to healthcare access, education assistance, housing, and employment. I’m proud of my record of serving veterans throughout my career.  I took on the VA to demand better treatment of our service members and introduced legislation that would make it easier for veterans to receive the services they are entitled to. It’s time for the state to lead in serving and protecting those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and way of life. As governor, I’ll ensure that our veterans have the financial, housing, and healthcare resources they deserve.

Michelle Lujan Grisham released her plan to build a Healthcare System that Works for all New Mexicans. The action plan details the nine steps she will immediately take as governor to make healthcare more accessible to New Mexico families.

As families throughout New Mexico prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July, federal and state parks across our state are closed because of severe fire threats. The changing climate and ongoing drought mean that New Mexico is at an even greater risk to experience devastating fires this season.

If we’re going to grow, attract investment, and build opportunity for New Mexicans across our state we need a stronger infrastructure.
