Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $29 million in capital outlay projects in Chaves County, including upgrades to the Roswell Museum & Art Center, repairs to the Lake Arthur wastewater system, and funding for roof renovations at New Mexico Military Institute.
Local Economic Development Act appropriations, a program championed by Governor Lujan Grisham, will result in $18 million in private investment in Chaves County that will create 360 jobs. Governor Lujan Grisham’s administration supported 191 jobs in Chaves County through the Job Training Incentive Program.
