Valencia
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $26 million in capital outlay projects in Valencia County, including funding for improvements at Daniel Fernandez Park, constructing a wastewater treatment facility in Bosque Farms, and construction of the Belen Veterans Memorial.
In 2021, Governor Lujan Grisham signed legislation that directed federal funding to finally construct a hospital in Valencia County, a long awaited promise made to the residents of Valencia County.

Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $29 million in capital outlay projects in Grant County, including funding to improve facilities for mothers and newborn babies at the Gila Regional Medical Center, infrastructure upgrades at Western New Mexico University, upgrades to public safety buildings in Bayard, and renovations at the senior center in Silver City.
Union
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $2 million in capital outlay projects in Union County, including funding for Clayton water system improvements, purchase a meal delivery vehicle for the Clayton Senior Center, and to improve roads throughout Union County.
Eddy
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $31 million in capital outlay projects in Eddy County, including funding for the Carlsbad brine well remediation project, sewer improvements in Carlsbad, and funding for a new sanitary sewer lift station in Carlsbad. Governor Lujan Grisham’s administration supported 18 jobs in Eddy County through the Job Training Incentive Program. In just three years, Governor Lujan Grisham invested about $300 million in roads in southeaster New Mexico, more than the entire previous administration invested in all 8 years. As a result of road improvements, traffic accidents from the Texas Border to mile marker 20 on U.S. 285 have decreased by more than 50%.
Torrance
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $8 million in capital outlay projects in Torrance County, including funding to build a new fire station in Moriarty, construct a senior center in Mountainair, and improve the Tajique Land Grant-Merced Community Center.

Dona Ana
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $123 million in capital outlay projects in Doña Ana County, including park and playground improvements in Sunland Park, wastewater treatments system improvements, road and flood control improvements countywide. Taos
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $41 million in capital outlay projects in Taos County, including funding to purchase new ambulances for Taos County, improvements to the Red River water system, and for safety improvements at the Rio Grande Gorge.

Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $15 million in capital outlay projects in Curry County, including funding for construction at the Clovis Wellness and Youth Development Center, improvements to roads countywide, and funding to construct a fire department in Ranchvale.

Governor Lujan Grisham invested $77.2 million into road projects in Colfax County, including $21.3 million for the reconstruction of the I-25 Raton Pass, $22.8 million for interchange construction at I-25 and US 64/87, and $10.1 million for the rehabilitation of I-25 in Springer.
Santa Fe
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $159 million in capital outlay projects in Santa Fe County, including funding to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure, to construct the new South Side Teen Center in Santa Fe, and funding to develop broadband infrastructure on Pueblos in Santa Fe County.
Local Economic Development Act appropriations, a program championed by Governor Lujan Grisham, have resulted in $5,698,000 in private investment in Santa Fe County that will create 179 jobs. Governor Lujan Grisham’s administration supported 222 jobs in Santa Fe County through the Job Training Incentive Program.
In 2022, Governor Lujan Grisham allocated $10 million for the Affordable Housing Trust and $10 million to combat homelessness, making a critical investment in affordable housing in Santa Fe.
Cibola
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $20 million in capital outlay projects in Cibola County, including constructing a community center in Laguna Pueblo, building renovations at NMSU-Grants, and renovations at the Cibola County Public Safety building.
San Miguel

After visiting Chama and other communities in Rio Arriba following the December 2021 wind and snow storm, Governor Lujan Grisham pushed for and signed SB 141, legislation that would enable local governments to get propane supplies from another supplier, especially in the event of an emergency.
Roosevelt
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $12 million in capital outlay projects in Roosevelt County, including street improvements in Portales and Elida, infrastructure improvements at Eastern New Mexico University, and to expand the emergency room at the Roosevelt County General Hospital.
Quay
Governor Lujan Grisham approved over $4 million in capital outlay projects in Quay County, including funding to renovate the Tucumcari senior center, improve water tanks in Tucumcari and San Jon, and to improve roads.
After Quay residents alerted Governor Lujan Grisham to the decommissioning of one of their ambulances, Governor Lujan Grisham cut through red tape to get the county funding for the purchase of a new ambulance.
Otero
